Game mechanics and formulas

Inazuma Eleven is a video game about soccer. Pardon, super-dimensional soccer. But first of all is a (j)rpg based on numbers, formulae et similia. In this page I want to collect every info I find about game mechanics.

Meaning of every stat

Let's start with official definitions of stats:

Kick: Determines the power and speed of shot.
Body: Determines the likelihood of keeping the ball while dribbling.
Control: Determines accuracy of passing and shooting.
Guard: Determines defence against dribbling and shooting.
Speed: Determines running speed.
Stamina: The higher this is, the less FP a player loses.
Guts: Determines the ability of a player to compete for the ball.

Now let's go into some more technical details.
For instance, have you ever asked yourself questions like "What stats are interested during a headshot?" "Goalkeepers need just a high value of guard or something else too?" "Is that stamina stat good for FP only?"
Well, I did. So I wrote everything I know in the following table, I hope it will be useful.

Power of shots (according to distance)

Ok, that's obvious: the farther the weaker. But how much?
Well, distance is measured in pixels. The reference pixel is the one on the middle of the goal. Imagine that as the centre of a circle, and the distance from where the player shoots is a radius. If this radius is long 100px the power of the shot will be 100%. If the radius is shorter the power is stronger (the limit is 160%). Here's a chart:
